Finance Manager – Market Drayton - Permanent

We are recruiting with a well-established and successful SME in the North of Shropshire for a new Finance Manager. The role will suit an experienced Finance Manager /   Accounts Manager / Accounting Manager who is looking for a role within a supportive and professional business.

Working 09:00 – 17:00, Monday Friday, this role will suit a Finance Manager who has previous man-management experience and who is ideally CIMA or AAT qualified, though QBE will be considered.

Duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility for accounts function and small team
  • Oversees Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger & Credit Control
  • Reporting
  • Knowledge and experience of factoring
  • Bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow
  • Complete Payroll
  • VAT
  • European Sales Returns
  • Petty cash, pay expenses, order and control of consumables etc
  • Liaise with external auditors and accountants

To be considered for this role, you MUST have experience in a similar level post, ideally with a relevant qualification in AAT or CIMA though  QBE will be considered for the right person.

You’ll be professional, personable and committed as well as being able to demonstrate string man-management skills.  Due to location, you MUST have your own transport.

Location means you will need your own transport, but it is then commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Stoke, Stafford, Wrexham etc
