Based in High Wycombe, we have a fantastic opportunity for a highly ambitious and experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join our established accountancy practice.

You will provide a key role managing the finance functions of the existing SME client base along with that of the business and managing members of a diverse team who are at different stages of their accountancy careers.

A hands-on role, you will be expected to focus on customer retention and business development, proactively seeking potential opportunities to build the client base and willing to undertake assignments when necessary.

You will oversee the full bookkeeping requirements and monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, along with cash flow reports and ad-hoc reporting for a multitude of clients across a broad range of different industries using a broad spectrum of accounting packages.

Previous managerial or supervisory experience of a finance team within industry or practice will be required for this position. Excellent communication and organisation skills compiled with the ability to achieve success through people. A Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), you must have several years’ experience within an accountancy practice. Experience of cloud software packages is also a must have for applicants.
