Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant

Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant based at the Gravesend Branch of this leading electrical wholesaler, offering an excellent basic salary and benefits package (including a competitive bonus scheme).

The Role:

• Local deliveries in and around Kent and Sussex, knowledge of local area advantage but not essential
• Occasional deliveries into London, knowledge of London area would be an advantage
• Managing the goods in and out and the general running of the warehouse/stores, keeping it tidy and assisting the assistant manager with stock control
• Booking goods in and preparing the drivers deliveries for the next day

Essential:

• Ability to work unsupervised although able to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Self motivated and well organised
• High standards of presentation and organisation for the Warehouse.

Desirable:

• Industry-specific experience is desirable, but this isn't essential.
