Customer Support Co-ordinator – Permanent – Telford

We are recruiting with a well-established manufacturing company in Telford for a new Customer Support Co-ordinator /  Customer Support Administrator.  This brand new, Customer Service focused role will suit an experienced Customer Support / Customer Service Admin / Service Co-ordinator who is looking for a role with a well-established, secure business. 

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Answer the technical helpline to assist people with problems, design questions and part number
• in a clear and friendly manner.
• Liaise with customer service if problems that have been identified that require an engineer visit or to discuss warranty claims.
• Liaise with the sales department if they require assistance in identifying products.
• Respond to emails throughout the day from customers and other departments.
• Assist in creating new bill of materials and product codes as well as reviewing existing ones.
• Other associated admin duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you MUST have a proven background in office based, customer service roles and have a desire to progress into an engineering / technical field. Ideally you’ll have worked within manufacturing or within a role where you have supported field based engineers.

You’ll have a stable work history, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.

The role will progress into an engineering support specialist role so you should have a desire to move into this field.

The Telford site is accessible from parts of Telford and is also commutable from Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Bridgnorth, Walsall, Stafford, Perton, Wolverhampton, Shifnal etc
