Sales Support Administrator – Permanent - Telford

We are now recruiting a new Sales Support Administrator to join a successful, growing company in Telford.  This brand new Sales Admin post will suit a professional, eager applicant and comes with ample rewards and promotion prospects.  

Based within a modern, open plan office, you will be working in a busy sales department, supporting a busy team of Account Managers to meet requirements of their customers on a day to day basis.  You will strive to ensure the customer has a positive experience and all processes and procedures are adhered to.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Providing general administrative support for the sales support department as required
  • To raise and send accurate quotations to customers within an acceptable time period
  • Process customer orders correctly
  • Check availability of equipment using the stock planner
  • Liaise with clients over the phone and by email to provide updates
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customers’ requirements are met
  • Acknowledge customer orders within an acceptable time period
  • Gain additional information from customers and suppliers when required
  • Assisting with the cover of senior account managers when they are out of the office
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Make follow up calls/e-mails as appropriate
  • Prepare sales information and reports as required
  • Data cleansing including use of Google/LinkedIn
  • Maintenance of Order Books
  • Diary management for Director of Business Development, including making, amending and prioritising appointments
  • Collating forms and data for Director of Business Development
  • Being a point of liaison between Director of Business Development and account managers

To be considered for this fantastic new opportunity, the ideal applicant will have worked in a similar role previously supporting sales teams or account managers in an office based, customer focused role.  You’ll also be IT literate (ideally with a strong understanding of Google Docs, Sheets, Dive and Mail), able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, be extremely well organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The site is commutable to from most parts of Telford on public transport, though is also accessible with your own transport from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Shifnal, Market Drayton, Telford etc
