CAD Design Engineer – Permanent - Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a well-established and financially secure, manufacturing company in Telford for a new CAD Design Engineer. This permanent position will suit an experienced Auto CAD Design Engineer who is looking for a role within a supportive environment.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Taking customer requirements (often very basic concepts) and designing bespoke solutions
- Create Technical Drawings (Auto CAD) for quoting and manufacturing purposes
- Advice on correct materials
- Technical support & advice to customers
- Log and record all relevant information
To be considered for this CAD Design role, you MUST have previous experience with Auto CAD, ideally from practical experience within a manufacturing business. Recent university graduates with Auto CAD experience and a relevant engineering or product design degree may be considered.
You’ll be well organised, have good communication skills and as well as being technically astute, must have a stable work history.
The Telford site is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Walsall, Stafford, Stoke, Stone, Cannock, Lichfield, Dudley, Brownhills etc
