Finance Officer
The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provision in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Pembrokeshire as well as an associated site in Darlington and independent specialist schools in Sheffield and Clent.
Since 1987, Ruskin Mill Trust’s Practical Skills Therapeutic Education method has enabled young people to overcome barriers to learning, become skilled, and return to their communities with greater independence. By immersing students within the productive aspect of our curriculum, they learn to overcome their barriers to learning and to care for their own wellbeing and development.
Finance Officer
£16,350 - £21,431 per annum
(depending on qualifications and experience)
Fixed Term for 1 year Maternity Cover
Based at Freeman College in Sheffield
This is an exciting time in the development of Ruskin Mill Trust and we are looking for candidates who are going to thrive in a changing landscape, who have an eye for details, good excel skills and are looking to develop their finance career.
You will be an experienced finance administrator or finance officer looking to develop your skills further within a centrally managed finance function in a medium sized charity. Ideally, you will have completed part of your AAT qualification.
You will have good organisational, administrative and planning skills which are underpinned by energy, enthusiasm and a determination to move onwards and upwards.
You will have high quality editing and linguistics skills and be able to work with ever-moving priorities in a demanding, growing organisation that offers significant personal development opportunities
This is a fixed term position to cover a period of Maternity Leave.
