Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role

Assist in the production of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation process, monthly board reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

The post

Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, you will be a key member in the smooth running of the finance function.

The core duties for the post are:

  • Bank postings and reconciliations
  • Journal preparation and posting
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Assist in the production of management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the monthly review and analysis for a selection of the Company’s departments (dental practices)
  • Assist in the production of monthly management information for the Board
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for your allocated departments

Remuneration/Benefits

  • Salary up to £24,000
  • Pension scheme with NEST, employer contributions currently at 2%, rising to 3% in April 2019.

Skills/Experience

  • AAT qualified or equivalent
  • Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders
  • Good MS Office skills, (in particular Microsoft Excel)
  • Relevant finance experience beneficial.
