Due to our success and popularity, we are now looking to increase our team of Technicians with individuals that share our passion and enthusiasm.

Job Purpose:

Our Technicians have the enviable task of undertaking all of the mechanical maintenance and repairs for our customers classic Mercedes vehicles.  Key responsibilities will include:-

• Undertaking mechanical servicing and repairs of vehicles as per SL Shop schedules;
• Filling out job cards to include written detailed descriptions of all work carried out and tests completed;
• Responsible for recording all job line clocking’s for each job undertaken;
• Planning work procedures using technical manuals and experience;
• Liaising with the Workshop Controller to obtain descriptions of vehicle issues and to discuss the work to be performed when asked to do so;
• Ensuring the disposal of old parts and consumables are carried out as per procedures;
• Keeping up to date with current practices relating to Classic SL models;
• Adhering to all housekeeping and health & safety procedures;

Knowledge & Skills:

We are looking for individuals that above all else, can demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in working with classic cars.  In addition to this, we would also like to see the following:-

• A recognised mechanical qualification;
• Demonstrable experience of servicing and repairing vehicles;
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written;
• Can work under pressure to achieve deadlines whilst ensuring quality is not compromised;
