CR Products (CRP) Ltd is a wholesaler of power transmission solutions and the certified master distributor of Timken® Belts for Europe, Middle-East and Africa, including, the high-performance Carlisle® Belts and Ultimax® Belts brands.

CRP specialises in the design, development and supply of belt drive solutions supporting dealers, distributors and OEMs with drive design services, aftermarket solutions and a full industrial drive system supply. With a product portfolio that includes, but it is not limited to over 600,000 SKUs across v-belts, timing belts, banded belts, ribbed belts, CVT belts, pulleys, bushings and aftermarket solutions available for the automotive, agriculture, industrial, outdoor power equipment, powersports and transport refrigeration markets.

The Role:
We are a young dynamic growing business with ambitions to significantly grow and develop the business over the coming years. You will enhance our management team and will be responsible for managing the finance function of the business, supervising a bookkeeper and taking an overview of the administration and operation of the company. This is the number one finance position within our business and, as such, requires an individual familiar with a combination of well-developed technical accountancy skills and strong business partnering skills.

 

Specific Duties will include:

  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accountants.
  • Overseeing all aspects of operational finance support including AP, AR and credit control.
  • Implementing and reporting on KPIs.
  • Presentation of management accountants to the Directors and Management team
  • Applying continued improvement to processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory accounting obligations and accepted best practice
  • Ensure timely adherence to all internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Technically strong and commercially minded.


The job will be a varied one; along with the above accounts duties the job will also involve; a full administration and operations overview; managing annual budgets, managing an integral 3rd Party Logistics relationship and liaising with the board at monthly management meetings to oversee the growth of this small business.

You will be able to bring fresh ideas to the table and have a flexible, willing and “can-do” attitude. Our business is full of positive personalities, so you must also possess a good sense of humour. We need a real team player who is credible and confident when liaising with our management and our beloved customers.

 

Initial Work Listing

  • Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and information
  • Establish Annual Budgets
  • Cash Forecasts
  • Balance sheet control accounts to be reconciled each month
  • Review adequacy of financial systems and internal financial controls recommend improvements
  • Review and Improve management reporting system
  • Review Reports produced
  • Manage Bank and Banking Facilities
  • Manage Intrastat and legal requirements
  • Manage and complete KPI’s and reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis 
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and completion of all year-end obligations (Annual return, year-end accounts, tax payments. etc.)
  • Prepare Budgets, variances and KPI guidance for monthly management meetings
  • Organise full Cost Review and savings potential for all overheads by 31st January
  • Manage 3PL Logistics provider, and ensure KPI’s met
  • Oversee Inventory management system, set and review targets once per month

 

Preferred Criteria:

  • Advanced Capability of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of Sage Line 50 Software
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified (near qualified) (or equivalent))

£30-£33,000 or pro-rata following successful completion of 6 month probation.
