Job Details
The Education Department are looking for a Education Coordinator to coordinate a national judge education programme that provides sufficient education opportunities at all levels to meet the needs of the national and regional competition programmes.
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role are:
• Consulting with National Judge Education Panel (NJEP) and regional colleagues to identify current and future need / demand, to include consideration of competition calendars and suitable course placement
• Planning, organising and advertising national level courses and minority courses in line with identified requirements, to include: sourcing dates, venues, accommodation, tutors, resources etc. in line with programme requirements
• Monitoring trends and patterns in learner success rates, including monitoring courses through to award, issuing certificates and maintaining accurate member records
• Communicating with NJEP and Education Managers to plan annual meeting programme; draft meeting agendas and circulate meeting minutes
• Devising a holistic approach to the annual planning of an effective programme of judge education for each region and discipline in conjunction with Workforce Development Coordinators.
• Supporting colleagues, training and sharing knowledge/expertise, working as part of a team to resolve difficult situations, where required/appropriate
The Person
The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, for managing and prioritising the work programme, arranging courses and meetings.
• Strong IT skills, confident in using various Microsoft packages for presenting, writing reports, collating data and analysing records in relation to expenditure, cost effectiveness, trends and progress
• Great interpersonal skills for building effective working relationships with various stakeholders across the gymnastics community
