(Multi-skilled) Maintenance Engineer – Permanent - Telford
We are recruiting with a well-known and respected Manufacturing company for a new Maintenance Engineer / Fitter to join their team. This new permanent position will suit an experienced, Maintenance Engineer looking for a role on a Monday – Friday day shift with plenty of overtime.
Mechanically and Electrically focused, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- On plant and equipment:
- Fault finding
- Maintenance modification
- Installs
- Testing
- Reactive Maintenance
- CI / Preventive Maintenance Projects
- Work closely with production and other departments to drive efficiencies through the business
Experience of working in a metal fabricating / engineering environment is essential and you will ideally have experience of working with equipment including welders, hand tools, cutters, guillotines and various CNC machines. You will though be hard working and flexible as well as technically astute.
You’ll ideally be 17th Ed qualified and you will be able to MIG weld to be considered.
Salary will be c£27,000 plus overtime for the right person, and there will also be the opportunity for development and progression within the business.
The site is commutable from all parts of Telford as well as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Bridgnorth, Shifnal, Ironbdrige etc
