Bingo Operative / Customer Service Assistant - Regent Bingo Spalding

We are currently recruiting for a talented customer service assistant to work at our highly successful Regent Bingo Club in Spalding. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting Customers
• Providing help and assistance to customers
• Selling Bingo Books/packages
• Giving change
• Serving/preparing food and beverages
• Providing customer service on the bingo hall floor
• Ensuring all fruit machines are kept clean and presentable
• A willingness to call bingo once you have been fully trained in this area
• Any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club

Skills & Experience:

• Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/entertainment industry)
• Experience of working with food and beverages
• Good communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• A good work ethos:
• Are you happy to help out and go the extra mile
• Punctual
• Hard working
• And have a smart appearance

Working Hours:

This is a permanent part time position with the total number of hours to be agreed and discussed at interview. The rate of pay is £7.83 per hour plus double pay if you work on a designated bank holiday day.

Hours of operation are from 10am to 11pm 7 days per week and work patterns may include other shifts on afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Important requirement:

The position is covered by a Genuine Occupational Qualification of a minimum age restriction of 18 due to the Gambling Commission rules on employment of anyone under this age. All applicants must therefore be over the age of 18 to apply.
