We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong change delivery record who is willing to take end-to-end ownership, in order to successfully deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. As part of the Data Operations team, you’ll partner closely with Technology, Product, Sales and Operational teams as well as customers and vendors to deliver strategic cross-functional projects.

What You’ll Be Doing with the Project Manager Role

 

At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our employees are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:

 

  • Delivering projects in an Agile environment to time, cost and quality objectives, working with product owners and teams working within an agile framework
  • Navigating through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments
  • Managing cross-functional project teams to execute complex projects, ensuring accountability and responsibilities are clear, with owners held to account on delivery of their commitments
  • Co-ordination of publication, review and sign-off of major Project Management deliverables
  • Definition and management of desired project benefits, ensuring realisation plans are place and embedded into the business
  • Ensuring project plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost, and resource utilisation is monitored
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to the Senior Management Team and all stakeholders
  • Co-ordinating quality activities to meet quality objectives. Managing project risks, issues and change control, communicating the impact to the project
  • Monitoring projects against time, budget and quality standards
  • Implementing project governance structures and ensuring effective Steering Committees and Working Groups take place, working with and suitably challenging staff of all levels as required
  • Hunting out revenue opportunities during project delivery and where there is a business case to do so, establishing environments in which these can be exploited
  • Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously seeking out opportunities to reduce cost in our value chain
  • Insuring all change is fully embedded into the business so benefits can be realised
  • Playing a critical role in building project management excellence by providing guidance and mentorship to all levels of leadership, as well as serving as an outstanding role model

Qualifications

Are You Qualified for the Project Manager Role?

 

Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to work

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle, from definition to closure
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves and do what is necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
  • Strong communicator at all levels through to executives
  • Comfortable to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer facing and commercially orientated
  • Recognise inefficiency and have the drive to recommend / implement improvements
  • Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise time
  • Passion for technology
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet workload demands
  • Excellent Stakeholder management
