Poultry Technical Manager

Trouw Nutrition GB, a Nutreco company based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, manufactures mineral and vitamin premixes for animal nutrition.

We are currently looking for a Poultry Technical Manager who will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, together with introducing and supporting new products and services.  Based on species focussed market trends and opportunities, you will support the growth of the Trouw Nutrition GB poultry business.

This technical function requires ongoing support of key B2B customers through nutritional solutions and application of research. You will work in conjunction with the commercial and product management teams based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and, in addition will support colleagues in all departments to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our poultry business.

The successful candidate will be results orientated and a good communicator, with strong negotiation skills.

To apply you must hold a Degree level qualification in a relevant nutrition/animal science subject, be able to demonstrate experience of commercial/technical roles and have a good technical knowledge and understanding of the poultry sector. You will be results oriented and a good communicator, able to effectively translate technical knowledge and understanding to practical use.  You will be able to work on your own initiative and will be open to new ideas and developments.
