Full Stack Developer

Full Stack JavaScript Developer offered a basic salary of up to £65,000 plus pension scheme and an amenity filled collaborative office space in Central London.

We’re looking for someone who we can trust to play a key part building an AI product that is revolutionising a technologically backward line of business. With seven years in the restaurant industry, we’re looking for a passionate and creative developer with the knowledge and desire to make critical product decisions.

The Ideal Full Stack Developer:

• 3+ years experience building full stack applications in Javascript (with NodeJS), HTML and CSS. We heavily value similar web technologies including Python, and experience with native applications will be considered a bonus
• BSc (2.1) degree in Computer Science and ideally more, but impressive real world experience will trump all
• Knows how to deploy and maintain apps in the Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate may not have done this on an enterprise level before but is capable of doing so, with an eye on security and scalability
• Experience with natural language processing, voice interfaces and machine learning (especially with Google’s Dialogflow) is not required but an enthusiastic appreciation of their growing importance is
• Ability to learn query based database languages quickly. We use a relational database called Grakn, but it’s a great start if you have experience in SQL or similar as a foundation
• A sensibility for elegant, modern web design with experience using React, Angular or equivalent, alongside a strong sense for user experience and commercial requirements
• Obsessive about well structured, readable and well commented code
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to convey low level technical jargon to audiences of widely varying technical aptitudes

As the Full Stack Developer you will have experience with:

• Java

Your contributions to open source projects with a variety of other languages and libraries will be highly valued alongside enterprise level applications.
