Exciting opportunity for experienced full time Site Chemists at Droitwich, with excellent earning potential, depending on experience

Now a team of Chemists, Technical Specialists, Administrators and Sales professionals we continue to provide an exceptional service to our customers. Chloros Environmental endeavour to deliver ethical and sustainable waste management services with a strong emphasis on diverting waste away from landfill and towards recycling routes. At Chloros Environmental we treat our employees, customers, their waste and the environment, with care.

Due to our continuing success, we are now looking to expand our team of Site Chemists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acceptance of hazardous waste to site, including checking paperwork and packaging;
  • Verification testing of waste accepted onto site;
  • Creating paperwork and job packs for outgoing waste loads;
  • Updating and maintaining stock sheet and auditing site stocks;
  • Identification, segregation and processing hazardous wastes;
  • Ensuring compliance with current Waste and Environmental legislation;
  • Supplier site audit attendance and reports;
  • Investigating new ideas for waste recycling and treatment;
  • Maintaining site records;

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum HND in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related discipline;
  • Previous experience within the hazardous waste sector;
  • Experience in TFS operations;
  • Full and clean driving licence;
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to cope under pressure;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel packages;

Terms & Benefits

  • 40 hours per week
  • Annual holidays commence at 21 days, rising to 25 days plus bank holidays;
