The HR Dept Edinburgh & the Lothians are a growing company providing a complete range of outsourced Health & Safety and HR services to small and medium sized businesses across the Lothians. Our clients are from all sectors and industries which provides an extremely varied and challenging role offering great exposure and development opportunities.
The Role
- You will provide a comprehensive health and safety service to our customers, meeting all response times and quality standards, making every customer contact with the company a positive experience.
- You will advise clients and business partners on health and safety law and processes.
- You will carry out, review and draft bespoke projects, fire risk assessments, risk assessments of hazardous substances in line with COSHH regulations and safe systems of work.
- You will review and develop health and safety policies and complete site audits and inspections along with accident investigations.

- A business focused and pragmatic Health and Safety professional with excellent interpersonal skills to help provide the fully comprehensive H & S service we are offering to our client base across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
- A flexible, motivated individual with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to meet clients across Edinburgh and the Lothians', so a full driving license is essential.
- A professional with clear focus on compliance and high-quality service delivery standards
- A wide knowledge base to advise on areas such as Audits, CDM, COSHH, Asbestos, Working at height, Manual Handling, Risk assessments, Fire Safety and training.
- A Member of IOSH at Associate level or above and / or attained or working towards NEBOSH National General Certificate/Diploma, or a suitable equivalent
