Despatch Co-ordinator

Despatch Co-ordinator – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting for a permanent Despatch Co-ordinator on behalf of a successful light engineering, Telford based company.  This new position is working on a day shift, Monday to Friday (with a lunch time finish each Friday). This is a ‘hands-on’ role that also requites a string level of organisation and in time supervisory skills.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Working very closely with production and despatch departments
• Checking customer orders / specifications
• Prioritising orders based on resources and importance / delivery times etc
• Issuing load lists to despatch
• Organising routes
• Supplying relevant paperwork
• Helping load items for transportation

You must be physically fit, have a stable work history, be reliable and hard work. You will also have experience working in a similar role (ideally with supervisory experience), be well organised and be IT literate.

Salary will be dependent on experience, circa £20 - £25,000 per annum (DOE) plus plenty of overtime available.

The site is accessible on public transport to people living in Telford, but is also accessible to you if you live in Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Shifnal, Market Drayton, Telford, Perton, Walsall etc
