The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provision in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Pembrokeshire as well as an associated site in Darlington and independent specialist schools in Sheffield and Clent.  We provide innovative and experiential education for children and young people with special learning needs, developed out of the inspiration of Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin.

 

Business Development Manager

£29,943 - £35,226 per annum

plus £6,000 per annum car user allowance

 

Can be based either in the West Midlands ( Birmingham or Stourbridge)  or the Corporate Offices in Nailsworth, Near Stroud with regular travel.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an established and diverse charitable organisation.  To succeed in this role the ideal candidate will be working in a pressurised environment in an educational sector which – as a result of government changes – is challenging and diverse. It will be important for the individual to intimately understand the multitude of changes within the sector and be able to converse at a credible level with the appropriate professionals. You will need excellent relationship management skills with the ability to cultivate long term partnerships.  The successful candidate will not only be responsible for a revenue stream for an assigned region, but also be expected to identify, present and develop new business opportunities or the organisation. In this regard, the successful candidate will require a good set of analytical skills relating to data collection with the ability to influence.
