Toolroom Machinist

The Toolroom department currently have an opportunity for a Toolroom Machinist to join the team, reporting to the Senior Specialist.

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Friday 8.30 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience.

The role of Toolroom Machinist:

• Carry out basic in-house tooling repairs/jigs and fixtures (ideally be proficient in using Miller, Lathe and Surface Grinder).
• Provide engineering support to Injection Moulding department as and when required.
• Complete daily safety checks on Toolroom machinery.
• Support the control of the Injection Moulding department.

The ideal Toolroom Machinist:

• Experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Have previous proven experience in a Toolroom or machinist Environment.
• Ideally Hold an ONC qualification in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
