CNC Machinist

CNC Lathe Turner – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-national manufacturer.  They are looking for new CNC Machinist Lathe Turners for both their days and night shifts. Night shift comes with a 25% shift allowance (day shift is Monday – Friday, nights is Mon - Thurs).

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Setting and machining the components
• Inspecting finished items (training will be given for the CMM systems)
• Programming simple components and making appropriate modifications with CAD / CAM systems
• Select relevant tooling
• Complete relevant paperwork
• Relevant PPM

Package comes with overtime at 1.5, attendance bonus and generous holiday allocation.

This is skilled, precision assembly and you MUST have a sound mechanical background in a precision assembly environment, particularly in the use of vertical CNC lathes – ideally Heidenhain or Fanuc CNC control systems.

You will also have experience working with CAD / CAM systems and ideally experience with CMM systems.
