Customer Service Administrator – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting on behalf of a small, privately owned organisation in Telford for a Customer Service Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.

You’ll be responsible for providing high level customer service to external customers and providing support to the field based sales staff.

 Duties & Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • To act as first point of contact for all client query calls and emails 
  • Liaise and update sales and accounts information for new customers
  • Update customers on a regular basis
  • Set up and process all administrative documents for new customers and update accordingly going forward
  • Update any changes to client details/requirements internally
  • Credit checks
  • Work as part of a team to achieve company standards and best practice working methods
  • Understand and adhere to client confidentiality at all times
  • Assist in Credit Control

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will be able to demonstrate a professional, personable approach to customer service. You must have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner as well as strong computer skills. Must be confident in using MS Office and have a good understanding of Excel. 

You will have an efficient and customer focused telephone manner, be able to work to the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity, be well organised with good attention to detail and act on your own initiative and with minimal supervision.

Due to location, you’ll need to have your own transport.

The Telford site is commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster, Newport, Shifnal etc
