The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provision in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Pembrokeshire as well as an associated site in Darlington and independent specialist schools in Sheffield and Clent.
Since 1987, Ruskin Mill Trust’s Practical Skills Therapeutic Education method has enabled young people to overcome barriers to learning, become skilled, and return to their communities with greater independence. By immersing students within the productive aspect of our curriculum, they learn to overcome their barriers to learning and to care for their own wellbeing and development. We are seeking to appoint the following;
Centre Admissions Manager
£29,943 - £35,226 per annum
Salary dependant upon experience
40 hours per week/52 weeks per year
Based within the Corporate Offices in Nailsworth, Near Stroud, Gloucestershire
The role of Centre Admissions Manager provides an excellent opportunity to work within a well established and diverse charitable organisation. In this role you will manage the entire Admissions process working closely with the provision to ensure that all of the stages from a student’s initial enquiry to offer stage and their eventual transition into one of the Trust’s Colleges or Schools are conducted in a timely and professional manner.
To succeed in this role you will already be working in an educational sector and have proven experience of working in an SEN provision coupled with detailed knowledge of EHCP’s. You will work collaboratively with Senior Management Teams to plan and host open days in order to proactively promote the work of the Trust and provide advice and guidance regarding the SEN process in line with the SEN Code of Practice and any changes in legislation that may impact the Special Needs environment.
The Trust offers an interactive induction to all new staff which allows the opportunity to gain insight into the craft workshop /student experience.
