The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provision in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Pembrokeshire as well as an associated site in Darlington and independent specialist schools in Sheffield and Clent.

Since 1987, Ruskin Mill Trust’s Practical Skills Therapeutic Education method has enabled young people to overcome barriers to learning, become skilled, and return to their communities with greater independence. By immersing students within the productive aspect of our curriculum, they learn to overcome their barriers to learning and to care for their own wellbeing and development. We are seeking to appoint the following;

Executive Administrator/ Personal Assistant

to the Founder and Executive Chair

£24,455 - £26,577 per annum

Salary dependant upon experience

40 hours per week, full year role.

Based within the Corporate Offices in Nailsworth, Near Stroud, Gloucestershire


This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a well established and diverse charitable organisation and would be ideal for anyone currently working as either a junior Personal Assistant or Administrator looking for career progression. The role entails the provision of a full administrative and PA support service to the Founder and Executive Chair under the direction of the Senior Executive Administrator/Personal Assistant.

To succeed in this role you will have experience of managing a adiverse workload and meeting strict deadlines coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a very busy administrative support office.

The Trust offers an interactive induction to all new staff which allows the opportunity to gain insight into the craft workshop /student experience.
