Part Time - Accounts / Purchasing Assistant
A rare opportunity for a Part Time Accounts and Purchasing Assistant to join this thriving exhibitions design specialist based to the north of Shrewsbury and offering a salary of £20,000 to £25,000 (pro-rata).
Hours will ideally be 5 days per week (20 to 25 hours) working to fit in around family or other commitments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic member of the team to look after all finance, purchasing and administration on a day to day basis.
You should be self motivated and want to take ownership of all tasks from filing through to end of month accounts. A keen eye for detail is essential. There are peaks in workload at certain times of year and it is likely that some additional hours will need to be worked during these periods.
You will be experienced in all aspects of office administration and finance as summarised below:
- Typing sales invoices, purchase orders and quotations
- Wages and Personnel Admin
- Purchase Ledger and Creditors
- Sales Ledger and Debtors
- VAT analysis
- Bank Reconciliation
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products
- Filing and Admin
- Assisting with purchasing and supplier negotiations.

We design, supply and install modular and custom built stands and displays, all of which are available for hire or sale. We have a large number of clients from the agricultural, food and rural economy as well as those from industry, education and government.
Based in a rural location to the North of Shrewsbury, all applicants will require a full driving licence and their own transport.
