Graphic Designer

Role Summary

  • Produce designs that communicate Forever’s brand and message with high visual impact
  • Maintain brand consistency 
  • Develop and contribute to marketing, events and incentives projects, campaigns, promotions and product launches, providing graphic design support
  • Design and update online and print materials
  • Liaise with printers, stakeholders, colleagues, internal departments, suppliers, Forever Business Owners and customers

Responsibilities

  • Produce designs that communicate Forever’s brand and message with high visual impact
  • Develop and contribute to marketing, events and incentives projects, campaigns, promotions and product launches, providing graphic design support
  • Design online and offline materials including consumer magazine spreads, B2B and B2C materials, campaign, product launch and promotional material, point of sale material, eMagazines etc.
  • Handle all stages of design from concept through to execution
  • Work on layouts and artworking pages ready for print
  • Support the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager to ensure resources are provided to meet marketing project goals
  • Contribute ideas to project briefs
  • Brainstorm and mock-up design concepts that fit marketing projects and campaign needs
  • Create designs, working to a deadline and present options for design treatments
  • Amend designs according to final comments
  • Check for accuracy
  • Prepare items for print
  • Liaise with printers and external suppliers
  • Update company literature as required
  • Prepare photo shoots where necessary
  • Work with external creative agencies and designers as required
  • Develop brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency
  • Create graphic design templates for European country offices (i.e. UK, Iceland, Ireland and other offices)
  • Actively research emerging technologies and trends in new media (particularly design programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Work as part of a team with printers, editors, photographers, creative agencies, web developers and marketing executives

Essential Skills

  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Specialised and proven knowledge of graphic design and image processing
  • Excellent skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of print and production techniques
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Exceptional creative flair and originality
  • A strong visual sense
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to balance work on several projects at a time
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues
  • The ability to grasp project needs and consider practical solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • Flexibility
  • A matter-of-fact approach when ideas or designs are rejected
  • Project management or campaign management experience desirable

General

  • Attend team meetings and other company events as required
  • Assist all team members to ensure all department responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Observe strict rules of confidentiality with information about FBOs and their Forever businesses
  • Any other reasonable duties required by the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing
