Credit Controller
£14.00-£15 per hour DOE
Monday Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Bury St Edmunds
On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Credit Controller to join their team on a 3-month, temporary assignment to support the credit control function. The successful candidate will have previous experience within administration and credit control, and will also have a can-do, confident attitude. Due to the location of this role, a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle will be essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answering the telephone and dealing with enquires appropriately
• Investigating and recording queries and disputes from customers and/or internal departments
• Maintaining all relevant paperwork and accurate filing of all correspondence
• Communicating with the team and senior members of the team any issues that arise
• Chasing clients by telephone, email and letter to reduce debtor days
• Managing the credit control inbox and directing emails to the correct departments/individuals
Key Skills:
• Experience in general administration office duties
• Experience in credit control
• Confident telephone manner
• Organised and reliable
• Good working knowledge of PC’s and software.
• Numerate and literate, excellent all round communication skills
