Our client, a large engineering business in Derby, is looking for a payroll specialist to join them on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible. This could go on to become a permanent position.

Our client is a large engineering company with a presence in Derby. However, this person could be based from home, with occasional travel to Derby. Candidates living outside the UK will not be considered.

Description

Overseeing a payroll of 800 monthly paid employees

Making sure overtime is paid correctly and shift patterns are correct

Responsible for being the intermediary between the HR/Finance department and the outsourcing company

Company is currently going through a systems change over to Workday

Lots of checking of reports, and sending to the payroll provider for checking

Pulling reports from the new system, putting them into the right format

End to end payroll queries

Profile

Someone who is immediately available and has a strong background in payroll

Job Offer

40,000 paid as an hourly rate

Some flexibility on working hours

Can be based from home
