The Role

We are working with a well-established export company specialising in building material products for global markets. With a history of nearly five decades, this dynamic and innovative organisation has earned a stellar reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant and Administrator to join their Edgware-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional to thrive in a fast-paced, international trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Financial Management:
    • Perform monthly accounting duties with precision and compliance.
    • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Conduct regular audits and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Import & Export Documentation:
    • Manage and complete all import/export documentation daily, ensuring seamless international transactions.
    • Maintain meticulous records and collaborate with external partners.
  • Commercial Oversight:
    • Oversee insurance, legal, IT systems, and statutory requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • MAAT, CIMA, or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation processes.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
