£30,000 to £40,000 + Benefits

As a Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish. Your role will include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.

You'll work closely to maintain optimal inventory levels and support the company's growth.

The role of Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator:

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to secure the best possible deals.
  • Order Management: Place orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.

The ideal Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Software: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
