Accounts Assistant - Hammersmith / Hybrid

  • £30,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join an organisation based in Hammersmith that believes in investing in its employees. The role will initially be centred around supporting the accounts payable teams.


The roll of Accounts Assistant:

  • Identifying and dealing with invoices.
  • Matching purchase orders to supplier invoices.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to the Accounts Payable ledger.
  • Preparing payments to suppliers, including payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed payment terms.
  • Processing expenses and any related queries.
  • Creating monthly journals including prepayments and accruals.
  • Providing support to team at month end
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal Accounts Assistant:

  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification.(AAT)
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly in a strong competency in Excel).
  • Experience with Ecommerce and Retail accounting processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
