Area Sales Executive to cover the area around the Heathrow / West London Area, offering a basic salary of £25,000 plus bonus scheme, company car, company phone.

Well established major distributor of Welding Products, Power Tools, PPE and Hire is currently looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to manage and grow its Essex sales territory.

The area sales position requires managing existing accounts and winning new business for welding equipment, power tools and consumables within industrial environments in manufacturing, mechanical, welding fabrication and general engineering sectors.


The ideal Area Sales Executive:

  • Experience in selling within the Engineering Industry
  • Passionate about sales and target driven
  • Ability to deliver a fantastic customer experience
  • Confident with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Confident with strong customer communication skills
  • Passionate about sales and highly motivated
  • Well presented
  • Ability to work on your own, as well as part of a professional team
  • Full clean driving licence is essential


The role of Area Sales Executive:

  • Highly motivated to take complete ownership of your own geographical area
  • Build strong relationships with customers and generate repeat business
  • Achieving sales related targets
  • Reporting sales trends to your employer
  • Understanding your customers’ needs
  • Cold calling and scheduling own appointments
  • Account management
