Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team and start out in the world of recruitment. You will be given the responsibility to manage the temporary commercial desk for Shrewsbury's leading office recruitment specialist.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business through various means, forging long term relationships and strengthening existing client relations, ensuring targets are met and a high level of professionalism is maintained at all times.
Other duties include: - writing job descriptions, sifting through a high number of CV's, interviewing candidates, matching skills, experience, personalities and requirements to job descriptions, negotiating rates and taking part in network meetings as well as visiting clients and attending job fairs.
To be successful you will have at least 12 months experience in an account management role or come from a B2B sales environment. Previous recruitment experience is not required as full training will be provided. This is a highly customer focused role so a friendly and professional manner is essential - confidentiality and integrity are also paramount. You will need to be bright, able to think creatively, be highly organised, flexible and eager to succeed.
This is a trainee role so the basic salary will start at £15,000 per year. Initially starting on a 6 month fixed term contract which will be reviewed with a view of making it a permanent role.
