A leading Global Investment Manager is actively looking for candidates from either a Client Services or Operations background that have gained previous IMA Agreement exposure. The role will be joining a recently formed team of 6 managing the life-cycle of IMA contract agreements for new and existing institutional Clients. The role will collaborate closely with various teams including Portfolio Management, Legal, Relationship Management, Sales, and Client Services and will offer further career paths into any of the groups. Suitable candidates will have 2-4 years (Post grad) experience working on the Buy-Side along with some desired exposure to client contract / IMA distribution agreements.

You will be a quick thinking and organised individual who is able to work under stress whilst managing priorities. The role will be responsible for supporting the contracting process for new and existing clients, as well as the coordination of contract reviews (both standard and non-standard), finalizing contracts for distribution to clients, creating contract packages including ancillary documents and document maintenance. Additional tasks include, reviewing sales opportunities for accuracy and assisting the team with projects and back-up support.

The Client Contracting Analyst responsibilities:


- Provide support to the client facing teams with the production, co-ordination and approval (through a wide array of stakeholders) of both draft and final client contracts and supporting documents for onward distribution to our clients. You will be the central point of contact across the organisation for the full contract lifecycle.

- Ensure accurate drafting and co-ordination of all contractual documentation for Institutional and Intermediary clients across Europe.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate all internal stakeholders involved in the contracting process, ensuring their comments are fully reflected in the contract and requisite approvals are obtained.
- Ensure that the appropriate contracting process is followed for all contract production to mitigate risk.
- Communicating any contractual documentation changes to the client mandate to applicable internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all completed contractual documentation is properly filed, stored and retrievable and non-standard clauses are maintained.
- Participating in research initiatives or projects that are requested by the business related to the contracting process.

- Additional duties will include continually enhancing processes and procedures to ensure the utmost level of client support and communication as well as assistance with broader initiatives.

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients/stakeholders throughout the pre, mid and post contracting stages
- Drive the delivery of a client-centric, relationship building approach to ensure service excellence
- Drive up client satisfaction and oversee the delivery of a positive client contracting experience by effectively meeting and exceeding expectations

Experience and Skills:

- Strong investment management client servicing skills
- Experience directly or indirectly supporting Institutional or Intermediary clients is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the different participants in the fund management business and their roles
- Track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
- 3+ years industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver on projects
- Excellent attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized
- Strong control / risk mitigation mentality with the judgment to escalate when necessary.
- A demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills with both internal and external clients at all levels and regions
- Ability to operate effectively to tight deadlines and to prioritise own work.
