In this job you will be...

- Dealing with or directing pupils, parents and other visitors
- Taking phone calls and messages accurately and reliably
- Providing reception and switchboard support to the school
- Assisting the other office staff to enable the smooth running of school's day-to-day administration
- Dealing with general admin duties such as: -photocopying, word Processing, filing, internal messaging, laminating etc

The successful apprentice will be expected to set an example of personal integrity and professionalism.

Your training will...

Start with a 12-14 month Business apprenticeship, which consists of 10 days of in-centre training in combination with work-based assessment, covering: IT skills, Customer service, Administration and Complaints handling.

You will gain a City & Guilds Level 3 in Business & Administration. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £25k in a business role.

Who should apply...

Our client is looking for an organised, efficient, flexible individual who is able to work well within a team and under pressure and has a sense of humour. The successful candidate will ideally have 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Other important information:

Smart Clothes - it is important to set a good example to the pupils.

Daily working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

What happens when I finish my apprenticeship...

The school has had apprentices before and it has been a success, therefore the right candidate will have the opportunity for a full time role on completion of the apprenticeship.
