Reporting to: MD

This is a senior role to join a specialist team within a global media agency servicing luxury and fashion clients. The team specialise in using luxury trends and bespoke luxury market research to inform brand strategies, creative campaigns and media planning.

The Account Director will work with the Global Managing Director and Business Director on a range of functions, including client and account management on a major new client win, media and strategic consultancy, new business and cross-agency collaboration.

Who we`re looking for:
- Account management experience and ability to communicate with and manage multiple clients
- Solid knowledge of UK media landscape and ideally a global media landscape knowledge.
- Strong Media agency background
- Excellent media planning and writing and strategy skills
- Solid knowledge of Print, Digital(inc. Programmatic), Social, TV, OOH media buying
- Knowledge of media planning tools (TGI, Comscore, Nielsen, MMS)
- Ideally instinctive knowledge of and experience with luxury and fashion, and natural understanding of cultural and stylistic trends.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Extensive network of influencers / opinion leaders internationally
- Fluent in English and ideally one other language
- Ambassador for the agency with external organisations

Specific Skills:
Client and Media Planning Skills
- Strong client servicing with a natural ability to build rapport with discerning luxury clients
- Management of key projects (media/consultancy), day-to-day operational aspects of projects
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and take a lead in planning projects
- Extensive understanding of and passion for all aspects of luxury and fashion landscape
- Intuitive knowledge of luxury and ability to converse naturally about related topics
- Luxury and fashion digital media landscape knowledge
- Branding, creative or media strategy and planning skills including Branding and Performance
- Brand and creative client experience or experience of developing brand strategies
New Business, Strategy & Marketing Skills
- Play a lead role in new business media pitching: writing key pages of the pitch presentation, leading pitches as required, coordinating with other teams as required to develop full service marketing and creative offering
- Developing marketing consultancy projects: identifying client`s business needs and writing detailed consultancy proposals
- Identify new business opportunities and actively work to cultivate new business leads among existing clients
Team Management Skills
- Minimise our exposure and risk on projects
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Play an active role in developing junior members of the team
- Take ownership of own skills development
