- East Midlands

Role -

The Account Manager will be responsible for selling a market leading range of Advanced Wound Care solutions (antimicrobial, foam, fibre and surgical) into the Primary Care market / CCG's. The role involves a mixture of new business and account management. The appointed person will be responsible for getting the products onto formulary (dealing with key decision makers in the CCG's including Clinical Directors, Pharmacy Managers, Medicines Managers, TVNs) and then clinical demonstration of solutions in the field (dealing with TVN's, district nurses, Practice Managers and on occasion nursing homes). This is a home based role that demands significant travel throughout the territory. The position will be targeted and require excellent territory management skills to successfully drive revenue.

Applicant

- Applicants will have experience dealing with the primary care market and be able to demonstrate success at getting products onto formulary within CCG's.

- It is likely candidates will have sold a commoditised clinical solution to the CCG sector - wound care, stoma care, incontinence care, diabetes monitoring, infection control, basic surgical packs, podiatry, ostomy etc. However exceptional candidates from the pharmaceutical market may be considered.

- They will have relevant contacts on patch and have good relationships to leverage.

- Applicants will have a proven track record of success

- Applicants will be well educated, smart, ambitious and money hungry.

- An ability to learn fast and generally good business acumen are essential.

- Applicants will want to progress in a market leading medical devices company.
