Our client is a provider of professional rehabilitation and case management services to the insurance industry, solicitors and corporate clients

Position: Team Manager
Location: Manchester
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £26,500 per annum

ROLE:

The Team Manager role is responsible for leading and managing a pod of clinical and administrative staff in delivering customer satisfaction, clinical excellence and achieving departmental objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure services are delivered to meet agreed standards
- Ensure project initiatives are delivered on time
- Obtain, interpret and communicate performance against standards
- Work collaboratively with other managers to innovate and develop plans to improve performance, including capacity planning, monitoring availability for service access and resourcing to meet service delivery standards and target NPS
- Work within the current complaints handling procedure (in line with FCA timelines), supporting the prompt resolution of issues to customer`s satisfaction, understand complaints trends and agree plan for corrective measures
- Ensure that arrangements are in place for clinical supervision and advice on all cases
- Ensure that quality checks and audits are continually carried out, with feedback provided to team members and necessary initiatives agreed with Clinical Governance Steering Group
- Prepare monthly MI showing performance of team against goals
- Use of the CMS (case management system) for case work (where appropriate)
- Production and analysis of Management Information (for customer and internal use) using Excel and Qlikview
- Responsible for the operational delivery of the team
- Support the recruitment, induction and training of new starters
- Manage the company performance review, and salary review cycles
- Manage employee relations issues within team, in conjunction with HR as appropriate
- Manage matrix relationships between team members, peers and cross functional managers
- Contribute to budget setting for the Health team, and manage the pod within assigned budget, complying with corporate governance and authority matrix

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and delegate
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Demonstrable transferable management exposure

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

- Relevant clinical degree
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrable case management experience
- Demonstrable management experience (through a background in rehabilitation, health, insurance)
