Infrastructure Solutions Architect - Bristol/Bath - New Role

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits + Flexitime

A leading organisation in the Bristol/Bath area requires an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join its growing delivery function.

The successful candidate will have worked within a large (ideally blue chip) organisation and will have driven service planning and solution design efforts to support technology governance processes for infrastructure technologies/projects coupled with the following:

* Designing technical solutions that will deliver the desired effect and match the infrastructure service to the business activities, processes, people and physical environment
* Incorporated latest thinking from vendors and competitors into product stacks
* In partnership with Service Delivery and Management, develop improvement initiatives to address systemic quality issues
* Acted as a focal point for resolution of escalated EMEA and Global Platform Service & Performance issues
* Led, managed and developed strategic relationships, service, quality and costs with services vendors in collaboration with the Global Vendor Management team
* Ensured delivery against operational control measures and address shortfalls
* Developed/improved regional standards, frameworks & models to support service excellence and ensure adherence to Global strategy
* Driven the focus, mitigation and closure of Global / regional related risks where the action is on the platform to address involving key stakeholders as appropriate
* Managed relationships with senior technology and business management within the wider Group
