£40K - £48K (OTE £50K - £60K) + 25% Commission + Excellent Benefits + Car + Pension + Healthcare

The Role - Sales Account Manager (Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Systems)

Following expansion they now seek to recruit a commercially astute Sales Account Manager. Working from home you will be responsible for developing and managing the sales portfolio and established key accounts. This role involves a mixture of account management and new business. You will be responsible for 'up-selling' and identifying new business opportunities, ultimately looking to exceed area sales and gross profit targets. You will look to extend the customer base, participate in relevant exhibitions and local events, assist in training team members, analyse competitor activity, organise territory product presentations and take responsibility for producing proposals and sales agreements, as well as all the associated administrative duties.

Your Background - Sales Account Manager (Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Systems)

To succeed in this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate one of the following backgrounds:- A seasoned sales professional with experience selling laboratory, life sciences, scientific or pharmaceutical captial equipment.- An organic / analytical chemist with a strong background using scientific / laboratory instrumentation such as chromatography systems and who has commerical acumen and strong interpersonal skills, looking to forge a career in a sales environment.

Whatever your current role, you will ideally be degree educated in a life sciences or analytical chemistry discipline.
