You will be working for...

A company that is one of the UK's lead security door manufacturers.

Their goal is to maximize security without compromising on light or aesthetics thus meaning they provide a unique range of high specification security and anti-ballistic glazing solutions.

Due to being located in central Birmingham, the company are perfectly placed to offer the right bespoke solution to security problems nationwide.

Given the wide range of high specification solutions they have a varied range of clients from Commercial premises, Banks, Bullion Dealers, Jewellers, and Housing Associations. Their clients trust them for their absolute discretion.

In this role, you will be...

- Remodelling databases in to mobile applications for in house use. The end goal is to provide a lightweight front-end to the heavy back end databases.
- Script writing and testing
- Company website ownership
- Becoming heavily involved in an integration piece
- Broadening your programming skills within the business
- You may be asked upon occasion to;
- Install new software on to desktops and laptops
- Resolve Anti-Virus license issues
- Add users to the in house platform
- General in house 1st line support

Your training...

Starts with an 18-24 month Higher IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work-based assessment, with modules that could include: Project management, Web and software development, Database modelling and Testing and implementation.

You will gain City & Guilds Level 4 Diplomas in IT Systems and Principles, and IT Professional Competence. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £40k in the IT sector.
