Sales Executive
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 + £10k OTE

My client is a UK owned software services company founded in 1998 and still owned and managed by its founding directors. The business delivers complex, large-scale, award-winning bespoke digital systems for Customers in BFSI, technology, publishing, public and non-profit sectors. Their technical expertise coupled with their mature capability in high-performance software engineering and agile/lean methods creates a powerful model.

*Office based role

Sales Executive Accountabilities
*Establishing telephone or email contact with prospective Customers
*Gathering and recording qualification information from them and other sources
*Formulating an understanding of their business and their potential value to the company
*Introducing the business and their specific strengths, especially in relation to the customers need
*Building an initial, productive relationship. Selling their capability and benefits
*Arranging calls/face-to-face meetings between prospects and field sales / consultants
*Maintaining an orderly, structured program of outbound sales activities
*Working closely with marketing to deliver effective demand creation and awareness campaigns into selected markets.
*Working with the Customer Research team and field sales, follow up inbound enquiries and leads such as; website hits, contacts through social media, in-bound phone calls.
*Maintain a deep knowledge of the company's solutions, USPs and Customer references.
*Maintain good industry knowledge
*Understand the main drivers in the market and the strengths and weakness of competitors
*Recording all campaign data, contact details, information and insights in their CRM
*Take an active role in the sales and marketing team.
*Support wider sales and marketing campaigns and events as required
*Compliance with all internal policies and operational procedures.

*A B2B software sales background
*Excellent telephone manner
*Can demonstrate a full understanding of the sales cycle
*A consultative sales approach
*Highly Computer literate
