Are you an experienced Reports / Data / Warehouse Developer and in need of a new challenge? If so I currently have an exciting opportunity working for a market leading Financial Services organisation that specialise in Asset Management and have been operating successfully since 2001. My client were founded in Australia and boast market share in China, and European wide. They are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and have over 600,000 customers around the world.

Due to rapid growth my client are need of a Warehouse / Reports Developer who will be involved in the entire warehouse development lifecycle, from the capture of requirements to the initial design and subsequent development, testing and delivery. This position will call on your knowledge, experience and creativity to become a key player in both pro-active and re-active projects which will demand an extremely high attention to detail and accuracy.

The areas of work will include (but not be limited to) the following: Working with complex Excel spread sheets, development of our Star schema, ETL process (driven by both SQL and SSIS), SSRS reports, Cubes, T-SQL code (DDL and DML), requirement documents and procedure / process documentation, ownership of systems support and to improve the speed and efficiency of the ETL process and to continuously improve the controls around it.

The successful candidate must possess the following:
*Strong core in SQL database technology and surrounding complimentary systems (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with an advanced level of knowledge in Excel
*Demonstrable background in Microsoft SQL Server development
*Analyses problems, thinks creatively, and makes effective decisions in the appropriate timescale
*Has a thorough understanding of the analysis process and can collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve consensus
*Strategic thinker with the ability to turn ill-defined opportunities and problems into clear strategic paths
