Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment/Sales Assistant to join the team based in London Bridge.

Main Purpose of role

We are looking for a Recruitment/Sales Assistant to join our busy Recruitment and Events sales team, to assist with the day to day running and sales within the department.

We are looking for someone to work as part of the team to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to contractors, managers, and clients. With excellent administration and communication skills, you will be able to support staff at all levels and assist where appropriate in answering any queries you may be asked for help with.

Key Responsibilities as our Recruitment/Sales Assistant:

- Providing support to the Sales/Recruitment Team with administrative duties, ensuring the department works efficiently at all times;

- Using Various in house database to ensure tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner;

- Assisting with the sales and the recruitment process ;

- Prepare reports for managers within the organisation as approved by the Director of Finance and Accounts.

- Maintaining employee and contractor files.

- Administering and ensuring contractors amendments such as address changes, changes in job titles, salaries kept up to date and payroll also to be informed;

- Responding and obtaining reference requests for current and past contractors

- Ensuring that all Administration tasks are completed in time and meet government guidelines;

- Other administrative duties as required by department seniors;

Person Specification and Requirements needed to become our Recruitment Assistant:

- Previous experience in a similar role;

- University degree preferred in any subject

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills, ability to multitask and work independently essential;

- Good level of computer literacy (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel,

- Communication, persuasion, negotiation and Influencing skills

- Planning & Organisation skills.

- Adaptability and ability to take a company-wide perspective;

- Must be able to travel and work from other offices as and when required, in line with business needs

Above all, you should be proactive, organised, flexible and happy to work in a small team. A confident and friendly telephone manner is extremely important, as is a thorough and methodical approach to working.
