Investigo Compliance have been mandated by a leading Bank to recruit for a Sanctions Advisory Officer to join their Financial Crime function. We are seeking an expert within the Financial Crime Sanctions space to act as the main point of contact for all sanctions related matters.

Duties to include;

* Providing advisory support and guidance on all Sanctions matters
* Investigating and reporting sanctions issues
* Maintenance of internal policies and procedures to ensure that sanctions guidelines are in line with Head Office compliance
* Review of existing and new accounts to ensure economic sanctions issues are investigated
* Identifying weaknesses in the existing sanctions systems and escalating to Head Office
* Conducting risk assessments
* Act as support point for Group Monitoring Unit around transaction sanctions monitoring
* Delivering sanctions related training to wider business
* Liaising with senior Stakeholders across the business
* Design and implementation of compliance monitoring programmes

Successful candidates will;

* Have previous experience delivering training modules
* Have worked previously within the Private Banking/Wealth Management sector (desirable)
* Have 5-10 years specialist Sanctions experience
* Be a strong communicator
