Our client is a market leader in the supply of Powered Access Platforms supplying the construction Industry operating throughout the UK.

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive forward sales within the London and South East

The overall objective in the role: Reporting to the Group Sales Director the Area Sales Manager is expected to be out in the field approx. 90% of the time and will be responsible for fulfilling the following key responsibilities which include:

- Meeting company sales targets based on utilisation and revenue
- Maximising revenue from existing clients
- Identify and develop key relationships
- Increasing turnover
- Client management ( approx. 200)
- Negotiate and closing sales
- Updating CRM system

Essential experience required:

- Proven previous sales and management experience
- communication and interpersonal skills
- Work under own initiative
- Track record of growing business in a defined region
- Hold valid UK driving licence

Proven sales experience within the plant hire/construction industry is essential. With a knowledge of Powered Access equipment and advantage

The Package:
The Area Sales Managers role is offering a basic salary of £30- £35k in addition to company bonus scheme, company car and benefits
