Job Title - Project Manager

Our client is an independent building and project consultancy and are experts in all aspects of Project Management, Cost Management and Building Surveying. They work with their clients to create safe and comfortable environments which are inexpensive to maintain, sustainable & practical to conduct business from and deliver a director led service focused on technical expertise, commercial business acumen and a proactive approach to service delivery.

Due to the ongoing investment through successful growth, they are looking for a new Project Manager to join the business. The position is to support the Directors on end to end service delivery on large and complex projects and to act as the key, day to day client interface on a number of varied Projects across the Private & Commercial Sectors.

The Opportunity: Project Manager

The North West Project Management team work across a wide range of sectors in the North of England, working with an extensive client base. These include major blue chip organisations, private developers and Public sector bodies alike.

Duties: Project Manager

· Assist in the day to day delivery of major Projects

· Assist in the management of design teams

· Review and manage the development of project documentation, programmes, master budget etc

· Production of reports to suit relevant stages of the projects and project governance

· Assisting in cost management, reporting, requisitions and documenting, process support for financial related matters

· Provide all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner

Desired Skills and Experience: Project Manager

· Appropriate academic qualification to degree level in a construction or projects related discipline

· Industry recognised qualifications

· Knowledge of the JCT & NEC Form of Contracts

· Experience of working in a client facing or consultancy based environment

· Be able to take a simple brief from a more senior member of staff and act upon it

· A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organised and can operate independently under a broad direction

· A team player who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals

· Able to manage own tasks through to conclusion
