Digital Sales Manager

£33,000 + Car Allowance and High OTE

We are now recruiting for an exciting Digital Sales role for my prestigious client; an up and coming digital company. They have a strong brand presence and are carving themselves as market leaders, who offer a full advertising marketing agency service; covering print, press, radio digital and outdoor advertising, thus offering a real solid value to their client base.

Position Overview:

As a Digital Online Sales Manager, you will be responsible for new sales you need to generate for the business, in line with our ethos and goals. You will demonstrate the ability to push out our brand as a market leader on all digital platforms to new clients, you will generate and pitch for, along with the management of all stages of the sales process from beginning to handing over to the digital team to implement. You will use their value added forward-thinking mind set to qualify, nurture, pitch and close opportunities in a timely manner, delivering against above target on a consistent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will take the lead on generating healthy relationships between ourselves and mid-level corporate prospects. The core digital services we offer are SEO, PPC, Website development, web design, CRM systems and services across all social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate a strong pipeline of qualified digital opportunities with upper mid-market and corporate businesses that will ensure that you meet or exceed quota will include a light stream of leads the company generates in house as well
- Accurately forecast sales revenue and analyse key performance trends and indicators.
- Build relationships and network within target prospects, in order to understand key decision makers, and how we can help them deliver up to their key business objectives
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to hit monthly and quarterly targets, to expand the company's customer base for digital services.
- Oversee the sales cycle and present the full product portfolio at a consistently high level, both face to face and online.
- Monitor on boarding and post-sale stages, provide an effective handover of the client to our dedicated digital team who will complete all tasks and work with you to feedback to the clients progress for every stage of implementation.
- Promote and maintain professional, technical knowledge by attending in house educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies both individually and across your digital skill set, in order to fully understand the value, we can deliver to new clients.

Experience:

- 2-4 years' experience in Digital Online Sales, selling directly to upper mid-market and corporate businesses. You will be comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes and delivering key sales messages.
- You will be highly motivated, extremely organised, and able to work under pressure to deliver against performance targets.
- You will have a genuine and demonstrable passion for analytics, data, technology and digital marketing.
- You must be a proven high achiever, outgoing, confident and willing to roll up your sleeves, working towards playing an important part in growing as part of an extraordinary, forward thinking company within the Digital & Analytics arena.

Technical Skills:

- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at every level of the business.
- Skills required to lead complex sales processes at corporate level with multiple senior stakeholders whenever required.
- A strong aptitude for the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Or apple alternatives.
- Experienced in crafting business proposals and plans for implementation.

- Effective listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proven ability to articulate the distinctive aspects of products and services, whilst positioning them against competitors.

Desired Skills:

- A Stable track record with 2+ years in each organisation.
- Working knowledge of Online Media and CRM Systems.
- Working knowledge of Affiliate, SEO, PPC, Display and general website marketing areas.
- Working in a fast-paced, growing company environment is a plus.
