This is a fantastic time to join RPS. As one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary Consultancies, we are working on a number of high profile projects and require first class, innovative and motivated staff. With an enviable client list, and the highest calibre multi-disciplinary back up team, we are able to offer unparalleled opportunities, in a dynamic work place, where achievements are rewarded and progress encouraged. We advise on all aspects of the Built & Natural Environment, offering a unique range of professional and technical expertise from planning and environmental consultancy to architecture and engineering.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Bid Co-ordinator to join the Divisional Bid Team in our Birmingham office. Working as part of a dedicated bid team you will be assisting with the writing and production of Bids & Tenders, identifying and researching opportunities and managing content on the company intranet to support bidding and business development activity across our network of 17 UK offices.

The role requires a customer focussed approach and strong project management skills to identify and then co-ordinate all of the necessary inputs to produce a winning bid in response to invitation to tender documents, on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will need to work closely with a broad spectrum of bid contributors including technical authors, to produce a compelling document that clearly and concisely presents RPS' capability and key strengths, satisfying precisely the client's requirements.

Ideally, you will have at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role and will need to demonstrate the following attributes:-

- Positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Excellent written skills and attention to detail
- An effective and confident communicator able to engage with bid contributors from across the business
- Good analytical and research skills
- Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
- A creative eye for good presentation to ensure bids are visually compelling
- A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign would be an advantage but not essential.

In return, we offer a very competitive salary and benefits package together with the opportunity to enhance your career with one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary consultancies.
